We also have black SHADECLOTH (55% strength and 20 ft. wide) for sale too, to shade your plants year-round. Most orchids will bloom very happily under it.
PLASTIC SHEETING is available here, too, but please contact us in advance so we can it cut and ready for you. PLASTIC NET POTS FOR SALE: 2" and 6" round, and 4" and 6" square available to use for your seedlings or vandas. ================================= We have cute little butterfly clips that secure your new Phalaenopsis bloom spikes emerging. In addition, we stock a complete line of hangers, clips, rings, potting mixes, chemicals and fertilizers at great prices. Did you know Paphs and Phals can be repotted in bloom? Dendrobiums, too! You can wait until they are done blooming, but don't have to. ==========================================================
BE SURE TO ASK ABOUT OUR GREAT DEAL ON USED CLAY POTS -- 10¢ per diameter inch and also used plastic pots that are less expensive than the used clay!
========================================================== Our native and non-native orchids are classics, some old & some new hybrids; also our own crosses are available. These are divisions from our very best plants. Some are not to be found anywhere else! We recommend the Florida native, Encyclia tampense and crosses, to be in everyone's collection. Easy to grow and produces prolific, fragrant sprays. Be sure to see the good selection of Encyclias in the house we built just for them, where the Florida Encyclia species and their hybrids are separated from the South American ones, to help you find what you are looking for. Be sure to check out our species when you are here! We also have many types of other rare and unusual tropical and semi-tropicals, begonias, bromeliads, succulents, cacti and desert rose plants for sale!!! SORRY, WE DO NOT SHIP PLANTS directly from our greenhouses, but there are several professional pack & ship businesses nearby that will provide you with that service, when you take your plants and/or supplies there. Summer Growing Tips for Florida Growers: This is the time to use fungicide and watch for scale, and rot from excess summer rainstorms! Air flow should be increased in the greenhouses to offset the increased temperatures. Fish emulsion should be added to your fertilizer regime.
We have a complete line of pots, hangers, potting mixes, fertilizers, and chemicals. Also, be sure to get the time-release pelleted fertilizer here, too. Great prices and good results with enhanced growing. Every time you water, a little is dispersed, with no burning or damage and makes it easy when you are away from the plants for an extended period of time. ========================================= NOTE: The plants shown on the next three pages may not neccessarily be in bloom or available for purchase at this time.
